Job Summary:

Due to our continued expansion, we are currently seeking to hire a Business Development Assistant / Administrator to join our team. This is an ideal opportunity for a highly motivated candidate who is able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team and who has strong interpersonal and communication skills. The overall purpose of the role is to provide support to the Marketing and Business Development Managers.

Place of Work: Castlecomer, Co. Kilkenny

Terms: Permanent/Full-time

Reporting to: Group VP / Director Business Development & Marketing

Hours: Monday to Thursday 8.30 to 5.00pm; Friday 8.30 to 3.30pm

Responsibilities:

  • Composition of Tender Submittal Packs – Ensures all teams (estimation, commercial and design) inputs are followed up on and reminded of due date.Updating social media accounts (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube)
  • Timeline of Tender submittals sent out to all individuals involved.Designing and acquiring promotional and branded material, ads, banners, stationery, promotional clothing etc
  • Gathers and maintains company data, keeping it all up to date to be sent out in Tenders, PQQs and platforms etc.Measuring performance of digital marketing efforts
  • Oversees the composition of all PQQ SubmissionsDesigning and updating companies’ Project Profiles, PowerPoint Presentations and other documentation
  • Timeline of PQQ submittals sent out to all individuals involved
  • Manages PQQ platforms such as Constructionline, Alcumus, CHAS & Achilles for UK applications
  • Researches and follows up with up and coming leads via Protel
  • Oversees the setup, maintenance and training of users on CRM platform – HubSpot
  • Applies for necessary accreditations such as Acclaim, Alcumus, Constructionline Gold, CHAS accreditation, Achilles Building Confidence etc. whilst keeping them up to date
  • Manages Project Profiles
  • Manages Employee CVs
  • Manages Virtual Showroom promotion
  • Manages Company org Charts
  • Note taking at meetings with clients
  • Composes company write ups/summaries
  • Assist Marketing Department with ad hoc duties if required

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Level 7 Business related degree/Diploma at a minimum
  • 1+ years’ experience in a similar role / administrator role
  • Highly motivated – be able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team
  • Strong interpersonal, organisational and communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
